Floor Care Technician (FCT) IICRC Certification Course Length: 16 hours over two consecutive days, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM This comprehensive "Hands-On" course will provide technical information and demonstrations on the proper procedures, chemicals and equipment needed to identify, clean, maintain and restore all common types of floor covering materials. This includes floor coverings used in commercial, health care, food service, industrial and residential properties, as well as specialty applications such as computer rooms, clean rooms and laboratories. Surfaces covered will include: wood, laminate, stone, ceramic, terrazzo, marble, concrete, epoxy, VCT & VAT tile and sheet goods. This course involves at least 40% hands on student involvement, come prepared and dressed to clean, burnish, scrub and refinish different types of flooring. Apprentice/Basic Skills Courses (IICRC) Length: 4 to 6 hours These courses provide entry-level training for new hires and those not quite ready for the IICRC's formal 16-hour certification program. These six-hour introductory courses provide attendees with an overview of all the major components of the full certification course in a short and easy to follow abbreviated version. Each course includes a PowerPoint presentation, written handouts and at least 25% hands on participation. A certificate of completion is issued to each attendee who successfully completes an exam during the last hour of the course. How to Sell and Price Contract Cleaning Length: 16 hours over two consecutive days, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM This presentation is designed to give contractors the latest techniques and information on bidding, estimating and preparing winning proposals for all types and sizes of accounts. Participants will learn how to estimate job costs and prepare bids that are profitable, accurate and effective in todayŐs competitive marketplace. In this "Hands-On" course the instructor will walk attendees through the process of identifying, reaching, and convincing potential customers and preparing an accurate bid and proposal for cleaning services for all types and sizes of buildings. Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Preparation Workshop Length: 8 hours Designed for supervisors, managers and owners or cleaning companies and inhouse custodial operations that wish to prepare for, meet and exceed the requirements of the International Sanitary Supply Association (www.ISSA.com) CIMS certification program.
